अनुसूचित जाति के मेधावी छात्रों की पढ़ाई का खर्च उठाएगी यूपी सरकार, योजना शुरू करने की तैयारी
मुख्यमंत्री मेधावी छात्रवृत्ति योजना लॉंच करने की तैयारी,165 संस्थानों के छात्र होंगे लाभान्वित। 8 लाख रुपये तक सालाना आमदनी वाले परिवारों के विद्यार्थी पाएंगे अवसर। 30 प्रतिशत लाभार्थी होंगी बालिकाएं, 50 करोड़ सालाना खर्च का अनुमान।
प्रदेश सरकार अनुसूचित जाति के मेधावी छात्रों की पढ़ाई का खर्च उठाएगी। इसके लिए शीघ्र ही मुख्यमंत्री मेधावी छात्रवृत्ति योजना लॉंच करने की तैयारी है। समाज कल्याण निदेशालय ने संबंधित प्रस्ताव शासन को भेज दिया है। इसमें देश भर में स्थित 165 नामचीन संस्थानों में पढ़ने वाले मेधावी विद्यार्थी लाभांवित होंगे।
यूपी में अनुसूचित जाति के मेधावी छात्रों के लिए यह अभिनव योजना लाई जा रही है। इसके तहत जेईई-मेन, जेईई-एडवांस, कॉमन एडमिशन टेस्ट (कैट), कॉमन लॉ एडमिशन टेस्ट (क्लैट) और नीट आदि अखिल भारतीय स्तर की प्रवेश परीक्षाओं में टॉप-2 या 3 में रहे यूपी के छात्रों की पूरी फीस सरकार भरेगी।
इसके अलावा उन्हें छात्रवृत्ति भी मिलेगी, ताकि उनके अन्य जरूरी खर्च भी पूरे हो सकें। इसमें सभी सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेजों व विश्वविद्यालयों, आईआईटी, एनआईटी और ट्रिपल आईटी सरीखे संस्थानों को शामिल किया गया है। कमला नेहरू इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी सुल्तानपुर और एचबीटीयू कानपुर समेत यूपी और अन्य राज्यों में स्थित कुल165 संस्थानों को चिह्नित किया गया है, जहां पढ़ने वाले यूपी मूल के एससी वर्ग के विद्यार्थियों को योजना का लाभ मिलेगा। 8 लाख रुपये तक सालाना आमदनी वाले परिवारों के विद्यार्थी पाएंगे अवसर।
समाज कल्याण विभाग के उच्च पदस्थ सूत्रों के मुताबिक, इस योजना में 30 प्रतिशत लाभार्थी लड़कियां होंगी। एक माता-पिता के अधिकतम मेधावी दो बच्चों को ही लाभ मिलेगा। प्रस्ताव के अनुसार, लाभ लेने के लिए अधिकतम वार्षिक आय 8 लाख होनी चाहिए। प्रथम वर्ष में इस योजना के तहत करीब 500 मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को लाभांवित किए जाने की योजना है।
इस पर 40-50 करोड़ रुपये सालाना खर्च आएगा। अभी तक एससी वर्ग के जिन छात्रों को शुल्क भरपाई की जाती है, उसमें अधिकतम आयसीमा 2.5 लाख रुपये सालाना है। माना जा रहा है कि शीघ्र ही सरकार इस योजना को अंतिम मंजूरी दे देगी। चालू वित्त वर्ष से ही यह योजना लागू करने की तैयारियां चल रही हैं।

For this, preparations are being made to launch the Chief Minister Meritorious Scholarship Scheme soon. The Directorate of Social Welfare has sent the related proposal to the government. In this, meritorious students studying in 165 reputed institutes located across the country will be benefitted.
This innovative scheme is being brought for the meritorious students of Scheduled Castes in UP. Under this, the government will pay the full fees of the students of UP who are in top-2 or 3 in all India level entrance examinations like JEE-Main, JEE-Advanced, Common Admission Test (CAT), Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and NEET.
Apart from this, they will also get scholarship, so that their other necessary expenses can also be met. This includes all government medical colleges and universities, IITs, NITs and institutions like Triple IT. A total of 165 institutions located in UP and other states, including Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology Sultanpur and HBTU Kanpur, have been identified, where the students of SC category of UP origin studying will get the benefit of the scheme.

As per the proposal, the maximum annual income should be 8 lakhs to avail the benefits. About 500 meritorious students are planned to be benefited under this scheme in the first year.
