  UP Smartphone and Tablet Yojana:

UP government's big gift, on this day 1 crore students will get free smartphone and tablet UP Smartphone and Tablet Yojna: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute laptops and smartphones to the youth of Uttar Pradesh from December 25. One lakh youth will be given free mobile and tablet in the first phase at Atal Bihari Bajpayee Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. A large number of students from every district of Uttar Pradesh will participate in the program.










As per the announcement made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, one crore youth will be given free smartphones and tablets to make them technically better. Under the first phase, on December 25, CM Yogi will distribute 60,000 smartphones and 40,000 tablets to the youth.


It is worth noting that for the first time in the history of the country, such a large number of youth are being given free smartphones and tablets. Preference will be given to final year students of MA, BA, BSc, ITI, MBBS, MD, BTech, MTech, PhD MSME and Skill Development. According to Kumar Vineet, Special Secretary, IT and Electronics Department, more than 38 lakh youth have been registered on Digi Shakti portal. The registration of others is still going on.


The Uttar Pradesh government has placed orders for supply of smartphones and tablets to several well-known companies such as Lava, Samsung and Acer. These companies will place orders before December 24. In the first phase, orders worth Rs 2035 crore have been placed for the purchase of smartphones and tablets.
