The written examination for selection to 1017 posts of Assistant Professor in non-government aided colleges of the state will be held on 2025 February 9 and 10.
At the same time, the written examination for 624 posts of PGT (Lecturer) and 3539 posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) in aided secondary schools is proposed on April 4-5 and April 11-12 respectively.
The Controller of Examinations, Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, in a letter sent to all the District Magistrates on November 30, has sought the list of centers for these examinations as soon as possible as per the government order of June 19. The exam date could be announced two years after the advertisement was issued for these recruitments.
Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission had taken applications for 1017 posts of Assistant Professor till 31 August 2022. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board had taken applications till 16 July 2022 for recruitment to 4163 posts of TGT-PGT. About one lakh candidates had applied for Assistant Professor recruitment while 13,33,136 candidates had applied for TGT-PGT.
